My name is Luc Reinacher and I am a young product designer from Basel and Lucerne. In 2023, I successfully completed my bachelor’s degree in Industrialdesign at the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz HGK (FHNW).
In my design practice, I strive to transform everyday challenges into practical design solutions using unconventional ideas and a multidisciplinary approach.
My passion is to explore and reinterpret traditional crafts and combine them with modern, innovative methods and know-how.
Experimenting with materials, colours and shapes plays a central role in my design process. Often my creative process begins with exploring and researching the properties of a material. In doing so, I like to explore the full potential of a material to come across new formal and aesthetic qualities.
In my design practice, sustainability is a central concern, both environmentally and socially. I am committed to ensuring that design is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also has a positive impact on our environment and society.
